"Lara is very knowledgeable and friendly... and, most importantly, extremely effective
– she fixed my persistent lower-back pain with great treatments and simple, easy-to-follow exercises. I've recommended her to several friends and colleagues."
Richard - Recovered from back pain
"Lara treated me for lower back pain and sciatica during my pregnancy. I felt very comfortable with her and she was very knowledgeable about how pregnancy affects the body and back. The treatment she gave me was superb and the pain in my lower back disappeared after just a few sessions. She also recommended acupuncture for the sciatica and gave advice on how to keep my back strong during the remaining weeks of my pregnancy. Lara is an excellent osteopath and I would recommend her to women experiencing back pain during pregnancy and for after care."
Emma - Recovered from back pain during pregnancy
"I found Lara both friendly and professional. With prolonged injuries sustained through both my sport and vocation, Lara has made everyday activities much more bearable, and I would happily recommend her to anyone
...in fact my partner has since received treatment from her too!"
Natalie - Received treatment for sports injuries
"Thank you for my wonderful treatment of my back. When I first came to see you, I could hardly walk, and I was finding it very difficult to conduct legal practice with the constant distraction of severe pain. After 3 sessions with you, well over 90% of the pain miraculously disappeared. You are a very talented osteopath, and I have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone unfortunate enough to be suffering the pain which I was experiencing when I first saw you."
Mark - Recovered from back pain
"I have been receiving treatment from Lara since October 2011 for a shoulder problem I have been suffering with on and off for several years. After 5 sessions I could feel such a difference that I have been able to ease off having treatment but should the need arise I will definitely visit Lara again in the future."
Nadine - Recovered from a shoulder pains
"Having broken my neck in a riding accident I am very cautious when choosing an osteopath to treat frequent muscle pain around the old trauma. I needed one near my new office, for punctual appointments during the week.
Lara changed my life; she must be one of the best amongst her peers.
She professionally treated me as a whole person."
Nereide - 'Lara changed my life'
"Thank you Lara for your care, expertise, professionalism and brilliance in treating George - the difference that your treatment has made to him has been amazing
– I don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t found you!"

An Osteopath is a health practitioner who specialises in the treatment of a wide range of musculo-skeletal complaints. By using hands on treatment, osteopaths aim to relieve pain, improve mobility of joints and reduce muscle tightness. During treatment an osteopath will not only address the problematic area, but also surrounding muscles, joints and ligaments to prevent re-injury. Osteopaths will also provide you with advice on lifestyle, stress and exercises to get you on the road to recovery.
Additionally Osteopaths are qualified to refer patients to other specialists if appropriate for further investigations such as MRI scans, X-rays, CT scans, blood tests etc.
People seek osteopathic treatment for a wide range of symptoms. For example:
• Back and neck pain,
• Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand problems,
• Hip, knee, ankle and foot problems,
• Sports injuries,
• Pain relating to pregnancy or post delivery.
In babies osteopathy can relax and relieve any physical strains in the body early on, as well as encourage optimum health in the long term.

No – Osteopaths are considered as primary health care practitioners and are therefore qualified to see patients without a GP referral. However some insurance companies may require a GP referral to cover the cost of your treatments, so check with your insurance company before booking an appointment.
We are always honest with our patients and as much as we like to see you, we will tell you when we no longer need you to come back.
As each person is different there is no set number of treatments required. Some patients may only need a couple of sessions, whereas some chronic problems may require long term management. A management plan will be discussed with you on your first appointment as well as expected outcomes of treatment.
Is Osteopathy safe?
Yes – All Osteopaths in the UK must have completed a 4-year degree and are registered with the General Osteopathic Council to practice. Osteopaths will use the most appropriate and safe way of treating you as they are specifically trained to recognise any condition that may be inadvisable to treat using osteopathy.
The majority of our patients feel pain relief immediately. However it is normal to feel a little bit of aching or soreness 24-48 hours following a treatment.
It is essential for patients to feel comfortable during treatment, therefore we advise you to come wearing loose clothing. However depending on the site of your pain, your Osteopath may require you to undress to your underwear. If you have any concerns please ask your practitioner before your treatment or contact us at email@example.com.
We often advise Mums to bring their babies in for a check up following birth as it can be stressful for both of you. Osteopaths can treat children as young as a few days old, and so we advise you to bring newborns in as soon as you feel ready.
